This kit was a commission build for a friend who loves Gundam Wing and wanted to to have a very nice version of one of his favorite mobile suits on his shelf as one of his first gunpla kits on display. I’m pretty proud to say he’s now a gunpla addict just like me!
The main focus for this build was to recreate the Wing Zero’s in-anime appearance, so I used the standard colors for this build with some stings of gold throughout to make the whole thing pop a little louder.
Going with the full “Ver. Ka” look by using all of the decals gave this build a great finish. Tracking down a set of Bandai’s waterslides was expensive but ultimately worth it.
Transforming this kit was risky, but in the end there was no damage sustained while I took a picture of the kit in it’s Neo-Bird mode!
